In the US Government, we have the largest installed base of Apple CAC and PIV smart card production deployments for HSPD-12, OMB-11-11 and FIPS 201 compliance. Our two factor authentication software is live at hundreds of sites, from the Pentagon/DoD, to the Army, Navy, Air Force, NIH, FRB and DEA. We released our first Mac high security smart card products over six years ago and all engineering and support is US-based.
Thursby received the thorough NETCOM security certification in 2007, as well as the simpler JITC certification. NETCOM secures its own Macs using our software. Forbes Magazine detailed Thursby's pioneering role in securing Macs in their first Government high security environments across the US Army in Apples for the Army. Today, Thursby is the Pentagon/DoD standard for Macs with Single Sign On and tight AD integration, although many installations have simpler use cases around secure web, email and VPN access only.

The vast majority of our clients buy in site or volume licenses for 50 to several thousands of Macs. Thursby has offered commercial grade products around file and print handling with Microsoft SMB/CIFS for 16 years, adding DFS support 10 years ago, the same year that Thursby wrote the Mac SMB/CIFS standards with Microsoft. Microsoft Active Directory support was added 9 years ago. Thursby has quite simply the best tested and supported Mac integration products in the industry.
