And my in-app purchase is missing! Did something happen with the latest update? It cost me $80! Did Thursby drop support for the Tactivo reader???

It looks like there are two apps now. The one I have always used that I did the in-app purchase for my Tactivo reader support now no longer supports it. There is a new Pro app that does and costs the same $80. So, what do I do now?!?!? Do I really have to spend another $80 to get back what I already paid for? Is Thursby giving App Store redeem codes for customers to download the Pro app if they already had an in-app purchase?

For anyone reading this, Thursby did email me regarding this and offered assistance. Awesome support - thank you

howlingthunder,

New Tactivo customers should purchase PKard Pro, but if you had previously done the in-app purchase in PKard Reader, you should be able to get it working again.

If you go back through the process as if you were buying again, you should get an option to "Restore". If you are signed in to the same App Store account that you used to purchase the first time, you will not be charged again.

Wow. I feel really bad. So in frustration I pulled the reader case off and left it off for a day. I read the above post and figured I would put it back on and try. Magically, the app saw it and has the Tactivo support AND sees my CAC card. All good.

I am really glad it was that easy. I am one of the people that uses this functionality daily, so it was a really irritating thing when it went away. Moral of the story is like all things: Try rebooting. Try unplugging and plugging back in... Thanks to Thursby for the support and actively trying to help. Product has always worked. Not sure why I doubted it.
