slooooow logout times with DAVE installed

I have a lab that uses DAVE to interface with EditShare. These machines are not on the university LAN, they are on a private GIG switch for EditShare. The logout times when DAVE is installed are nearly one minute. I'm sure it's something in configuration of the Software, at least I hope. Has anyone else had or seen an issue like this?

These are running 10.8.5, 2011 iMacs.

I'm sure you want more information, please specify.

Dave,

Which version of DAVE are you using on Mountain Lion?

Also, are the Macs bound to a domain using Apple's built-in Active Directory plugin?

Hi Jim...DAVE version is 10 on 10.8.5. The Machines are not bound to AD.

Dave,

We don't have any other reports of anything like this, so I'd like to provide the steps for getting a DAVE Trace and have you send that in to us at support@thursby.com . Here are the steps:

- Log in as a local admin
- Launch DAVE Tracing (/Library/Application Support/DAVE/).
- Check the all checkboxes except Server and Printing
- Authenticate as prompted
- Close DAVE Tracing, and reboot

- After restarting, reproduce the issue. Please describe any steps taken while normally logged in, the approximate time the user logs out, and the approximate time logout completes

- Log in as a local admin
- Launch DAVE Tracing
- Choose "Save..." from the "File" menu.
- You will be asked to enter a problem description. Please use this space to provide the information noted above.
- Save the file and email it to us
