We're long-time Dave users who recently upgraded to v11 for installation on a new Mac running 10.9.1 Mavericks connected to a Win2012 server.
We use an ad agency multi-user database called Clients and Profits. The database file resides on the server and the program runs on client PCs and the Mac to access the database.
The problem: Multiple PCs can access the database at the same time, but the Mac can't access the database when any of the PCs are using it. Likewise, the PCs can't access the database when the Mac is using it. And the product is designed to allow access by all, and did so successfully for many years with earlier versions of Dave, OSX 10.3 and earlier and Win Server.
That's the only issue so far. We've had no trouble connecting and browsing the server shares and we connected to a shared printer with no problem via CIFS.
The database developer suspects a bit locking issue. Suggestions would be appreciated.
