Cannot access navy email

For the past week or so I get the following error message when I try to log into my navy email from R2S on my iPad.
“R2S could not open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server”
I’ve got the most up to date software and I’m using my home WiFi.

When you attempt to log into R2S, you should see a PIN prompt, do you get this far? Do you see any lights illuminated on your reader?
